Another week, another Star Wars announcement! Plus new info from the past, and FFG announces their GenCon events.
First, the big news that I'm sure you all know about - the new Star Wars Rebels animated series. One of the more amazing things about being involved in the games for so many years is the people you meet along the way, and then see where they go next. In the clip below, I've known Pablo since West End, and met Dave Filoni and Joel Aron at Celebration last year. I'm very much looking forward to the new show.
Next is this amazing discussion between George Lucas, Lawrence Kasdan and others in 1981, about Darth Vader's history. Its interesting to see what stuck in the backstory, and what changed...and how certain statements in the classic series make more sense with this early version.
And finally, Fantasy Flight Games has added their GenCon events. You can get more info on the GenCon site, and some info at FFG's website. Here are a couple of glimpses of last year's GenCon, featuring a bit of the Edge of the Empire reveal during the Inflight Report.
And also announced today, I'm a stretch goal for the Cartographer's Craft for the Lady Sabre and the Pirates of the Ineffable Aether kickstarter! You can read more here.
